Sovereign Classification Engine

Authoritative, objective classification of gold sovereign coins from 1817 to the present day.

The SCE provides reproducible scarcity ratings and recognition statuses for all classified issues, derived from verified production data and independent survival evidence under a frozen, auditable framework.

Two-Output Model

Every coin receives both a Scarcity Rating (Common to Extreme Rarity) and a Recognition Status (Standard Issue to Key Date), providing a complete classification picture.

Evidence-Based

Classifications are derived from verified mintage figures, authoritative survival estimates, and documented reference consensus — never from market prices or subjective opinion.

Frozen Framework

The fv_002 classification framework is locked. No changes to thresholds, pathways, or benchmark definitions are permitted without formal governance review, ensuring long-term stability and trust.

Full Provenance

Every classification includes a complete audit trail: the data sources consulted, the PE and SE drivers applied, and the recognition pathway that determined the final status.
